CPI (ML) mla Manoj Manzil has been disqualified from the bihar assembly after he was sentenced to life imprisonment in a murder case by the Arrah MP/MLA court. Under the notification given by bihar Legislative assembly Secretary Rajkumar, it has been directed that as a result of the conviction and sentence by the Honorable court against Manoj Manzil, mla of Agiaon assembly 195, under Section 8 of the Representation of the people Act 1951 and Article 191 (1) of the Constitution. Under the provisions of (c), Manoj Manzil is disqualified from the membership of bihar Legislative assembly with effect from 13/02/2024 due to his conviction.
