World's largest Panchaloha statue is in the first temple of UAE?

This company is jointly run by traditional idol maker Anantan Achari and his son Anu Anantan. Talking about this idol, Anu said, "We are very happy to be associated with this temple. We have made idols and flag pillars for many temples, but getting the work of making the idol for the BAPS temple is the blessing of Ayyappa. This world It is the largest Panchaloh statue of India. The total length of this statue is four feet. We have never seen such a big Panchaloh statue before."

Construction completed in six months

There are five metals in the Panchaloh statue. It contains a mixture of gold, silver, copper, zinc and iron. Anu's family has been engaged in work related to temple construction for many generations. He got the work of making the idol of ayyappa temple from Bochasan resident Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha. Anu further said, "We knew that there was a demand among the Hindu community in uae to install the idol of Lord Ayyappa. There are lakhs of devotees of ayyappa in sabarimala in kerala too. The organization was in support of their demand. Through the priests of sabarimala The organization contacted us. Last year we were given this work, which was completed within six months. This idol has been made in such a way that the devotees will get the feeling of sabarimala after seeing it."

17 artisans prepared the statue

Apart from Anu and her father, 15 traditional artisans worked in making this idol. These artisans have made statues and flag pillars of many temples in Kerala. Anu said, "The final shape of the statue was given by my father Anantan Achari. We have an invitation to attend the inauguration ceremony. We are thinking of visiting the temple later. BAPS had provided the metals for making the statue, the organization "Senior representatives of IPC met us several times to watch the construction of the statue."
