As per report nationalist congress party mla Rohit Pawar is in the headlines these days in the political circles of Maharashtra. There are two reasons for Rohit to be in the news. The first reason is the ED summons in a case of Baramati Agro. The second reason for coming into discussion is Sharad Pawar's blockade for Rohit. According to ncp, when ED was interrogating Rohit on wednesday (January 24), sharad pawar sat in the office for him for about 12 hours. Not only this, when Rohit came out of the ED office, Sharad Pawar's daughter supriya sule was seen with him. Both of them along with the workers also demonstrated political strength outside the ED office.

Meanwhile Rohit was also seen with sharad pawar the next day i.e. thursday (January 25). Actually, on this day sharad pawar had come to meet the assembly Speaker regarding the membership of ncp MLAs. Rohit and supriya were present with Pawar. Rohit is the grandson of Sharad Pawar's elder brother Appa Saheb Pawar and mla from Karjat-Jamkhed seat. 38 year old Rohit has completed his education in maharashtra only. He has a bachelor's degree in management from mumbai University. After completing his graduation, Rohit joined Baramati Agro. The head of the company is his father Rajendra Pawar. Rohit was made the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Baramati Agro. During this period, Rohit also kept doing social work in Marathwada area. In 2017, he contested the pune Zilla Parishad elections and won by a huge margin.

Earlier in the 2019 assembly elections, sharad pawar fielded Rohit from Karjat-Jamkhed seat. This seat was held by bjp since 1995. Rohit defeated ram Shinde, the bjp candidate and minister in the devendra fadnavis cabinet, on this seat in 2019. It is said that Rohit also played an important role in forming Mahavikas Aghadi (an alliance of Congress, shiv sena and NCP) in 2019.
