Palladam turned into a sea of black and red as thousands of women gathered for the “Vellum tamil Pengal” (Victorious tamil Women) conference organised by the DMK Western Zone Women’s Wing. Addressing the massive gathering, DMK President and tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin delivered a powerful and emotionally charged speech, calling upon women to lead the party toward another historic victory.
In his address, cm stalin praised the strength, discipline, and political awareness of tamil women, stating that women have always been the backbone of the Dravidian movement. Referring to the overwhelming turnout, he said the sight of Palladam transformed into a black-and-red ocean symbolised the unyielding resolve of women committed to social justice, equality, and progressive politics.The chief minister urged women cadres to take the party’s achievements and ideology to every household, emphasizing that electoral victories are shaped by grassroots efforts. “Victorious tamil women must now search for victory and deliver it,” he declared, underlining the crucial role women will play in the upcoming political battles.Stalin also highlighted the Dravidian model of governance, listing welfare schemes, women-centric initiatives, and social justice policies implemented by the DMK government.
