BJP has come under attack from congress and aam aadmi party due to postponement of chandigarh Mayor's election. AAP rajya sabha MP sandeep Pathak has targeted bjp in his post on X. He wrote in his post that in view of its inevitable defeat, bjp has started the machinery of playing its dirty tricks in Chandigarh. If we have this kind of election system in our country then it is very discouraging. bjp is trying hard to postpone the mayor elections in chandigarh by misusing the government machinery. We will not let them succeed.

Also, Congress-AAP councilors staged a protest outside the corporation office.
