Why is congress interested in the seat formula?

Congress sources claim that the party is standing up and requesting seats from allies in five states, including UP-Bihar. The party is attempting to maintain the greatest number of seats inside its ranks by using this tactic.

There is a struggle about seat distribution among the 28 indian Alliance parties prior to the announcement of lok sabha elections. The congress party has nominated five prominent figures, including ashok gehlot and Mukul Wasnik, to address the problem of seat distribution in the alliance. congress sources claim that the party is campaigning in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, bengal, Maharashtra, and tamil Nadu and is asking allies for seats. This is due to two primary factors:

1. The party's organization in these states is incredibly disorganized. The party has no organization in many parts of bengal and Bihar. For the past two years, the party has been unable to select a new president for Bengal.

2. By presenting a strong front, congress India hopes to secure as many alliance seats as possible, which will facilitate the execution of its 300-seat agenda. Experts predict that during the seat agreement using data-face formula, congress will pick up at least 20 seats in 5 states.
