ED's noose is tightening! Summons sent to CM Hemant's press advisor
In the illegal mining case, ED has summoned jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren's press advisor abhishek Prasad alias Pintu to join the investigation on january 16. Sahibganj Deputy Commissioner Ramniwas Yadav has also been summoned on january 11 and Vinod Singh on january 15. On Wednesday, ED had recovered Rs 8 lakh in cash and 14 9 mm bullets in a raid at the residence of Ramniwas Yadav. These bullets are used in banned pistols. ED had also searched his two locations in Jaipur. There is information that many investment documents have been recovered from there. Let us tell you that ED has issued summons to chief minister Hemant Sorne seven times in the ranchi land scam.
ED has interrogated Ramniwas Yadav twice in the Sahibganj illegal mining scam, on 23 january and 6 february last year. Now the scope of investigation in this case has increased further. He is also accused of being involved in a conspiracy to host ED witness Vijay Hansda in the illegal mining scam, and covering up the case by giving a false report on the steamer accident in the ganga river on march 24, 2022. ED has also found in its investigation that Ramniwas Yadav did not withdraw money from his salary account for two years after posting as Sahibganj DC.
In the last interrogation, ED wanted to know from him how he used to survive without withdrawing money from his salary account. The agency has also found that when the summons was issued to him, he started withdrawing money from his salary account. Let us tell you that two IAS officers pooja Singhal and Chhavi Ranjan, trapped in the ED investigation in jharkhand, are in jail. After these, Ramniwas Yadav is the third IAS officer on whom the threat of arrest is hanging. Preparations are underway to register a separate case against him with the police in connection with the recovery of banned pills from his residence. Ramniwas Yadav is originally a resident of Hingonia village near Jaipur. He is an IAS of 2015 batch. Before this he had been an IPS of sikkim cadre. On 9 october 2020, he contributed to the post of Sahibganj DC. Just a few days ago, the jharkhand government has promoted him to the rank of Special Secretary.
