Bengaluru schools bomb threat rumor: Deputy Chief Minister?
In this situation, karnataka deputy chief minister DK Sivakumar has said that there is a rumor of bomb threat to Bengaluru schools. He said, “The bomb threat is just a rumor. parents of children need not worry. Within hours the cybercrime department will track down the perpetrators. parents don't panic. We are here to protect your children.” Earlier, while 30 schools received similar emails daily last year, bomb threats to around 15 schools in Bengaluru city have escalated the situation again today.
In this regard, karnataka Home minister Parameswara said, "So far we have received information that bomb threats have been sent to 15 schools through e-mail. A similar bomb threat was issued last year as well. Don't want to take it for granted. Inspections are being conducted in schools and all precautionary measures are being taken. Strict action will be taken against those making threats.”
