CM Arvind Kejriwal asked for report from Atishi on a complaint
cm arvind kejriwal has sought a report from Vigilance minister Atishi after receiving a complaint against Delhi
Chief Secretary naresh Kumar. The complaint alleges that a relative of a person who received higher
compensation for land acquired for an ambitious road project gave a job to the son of Chief Secretary Naresh
Kumar. After this issue came in the public domain, naresh Kumar has termed this complaint as an act of mud-
slinging.

now slinging mud. delhi Chief Secretary said that the officials concerned. Necessary action was ensured
including initiation of cbi investigation against him. Sources said that the delhi government had received this
complaint in October, which the chief minister sent to Vigilance minister Atishi and asked him for a detailed
report with facts on this subject. The Vigilance Minister's office said in a statement that the allegation against the
Chief Secretary is that he granted benefits of Rs 315 crore to his son's company. The statement said the
complaint has been sent to the Vigilance minister for detailed investigation. Has been sent.

In fact, in the year 2018, the National Highway Authority of india had acquired 19 acres of land in Bamnoli
village of south-west delhi for the construction of Dwarka Expressway. Initially the district administration had
fixed the compensation amount for this at Rs 41.52 crore. Landowners had challenged this compensation and
finally in May this year, South West delhi district Magistrate hemant Kumar increased it to Rs 353.79 crore.
Later the home Ministry later suspended district Magistrate hemant Kumar in this matter. Recently, delhi High
Court also rejected this compensation amount of Rs 353.79 crore.
