The ninth session of the 15th kerala Legislative assembly will begin today. Many political controversial issues will come to the assembly which will meet till 24th of this month. The house will adjourn today to condole the death of former chief minister Oommen Chandy. This year's special feature is that the kerala Legislative assembly is meeting without Oommen Chandy as a member for the first time after half a century.

It has been decided that the bjp will go ahead with strong protests on the issue. bjp has decided to conduct Nama Japa yatra in front of the Assembly. At the same time, the government's stance is to fully support the Speaker in the controversy.
