Cyber Crime Police to Disable Instagram Accounts

The coimbatore Cybercrime police has recommended the company to take steps to disable the accounts of 24 people for uploading photos and videos on instagram to incite criminal activities. Some have been posting photos and videos on the social networking site instagram to incite violence and crime. Cybercrime police are monitoring the accounts of those involved in such activities and taking action.
Regarding this, coimbatore Cyber Crime police said: Social networking sites like instagram are used by crores of people all over the world. Legal regulations vary between countries. A Legal Actions Unit is active in the company to respond to complaints of violations. The coimbatore Cybercrime police has so far recommended the company to disable the instagram accounts of 24 people. We are asked for some clarifications and additional documents on behalf of the company for certain recommendations. We are constantly monitoring all social media abusers, not just Instagram. They said this.

The coimbatore municipal police will likely call representatives of instagram India for allegedly refusing to remove content and user profiles that encourage animosity amongst groups.
