Political turmoil continues in Britain. After the announcement of Boris Johnson's resignation from the post of prime minister, so far nine contenders for the PM have appeared in the ruling Conservative Party. Thus far, a total of nine people have become candidates for the party's representative post in the house of Commons, the lower house of the british Parliament. Foreign minister Liz Truss is expected to announce her candidacy soon, increasing the number of candidates in the Conservative party leadership race to 10.

According to the bookies of britain, among the names that have announced their candidature for the post of PM, Rishi Sunak has the highest chance of becoming the Prime Minister. At present they have a price of 13/8 in the market. That is, the one who puts eight pounds on Rishi Sunak can get 13 pounds on the winner.

Next after him is the name of Penny Mordent, which has a value of 11/2. That is, the one who puts two pounds on the penny has a chance to win up to 11 pounds if he becomes PM.
