Political turmoil continues in Britain. After the announcement of Boris Johnson's resignation from the post of prime minister, so far nine contenders for the PM have appeared in the ruling Conservative Party. The last to announce the name for the post of PM is Trade minister Penny Mordent. He presented his claim through a video. Thus far, a total of nine people have become candidates for the party's representative post in the house of Commons, the lower house of the british Parliament. Foreign minister Liz Truss is expected to announce her candidacy soon, increasing the number of candidates in the Conservative party leadership race to 10.
