Kanimozhi, the DMK's women's secretary and parliamentary group leader, has encouraged companies such as zomato to require clients to speak state languages. A young man from tamil Nadu had ordered food through the 'Zomato' processor the day before yesterday. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the food that was delivered to him in the company's customer service center's website's grievance area.

Zomato's employee responded in Hindi. 'Hindi is our national language,' say tamil buyers. As a result, everyone should be aware of it.' zomato, speaking in tamil, stated, "We regret the difficulty this has caused our customer service representative. The company's position on language or tolerance is not indicated by this customer support agent's words. We recognise that food and language are the two pillars upon which every state and culture is built."

Kanimozhi, vice-chairman of the DMK parliamentary committee, harshly condemned the 'Somato' employee's actions, writing on social media yesterday, "Certain enterprises exclusively offer customer assistance in a limited number of languages. customers should be required to speak the state language by businesses. customers do not need to be able to communicate in hindi or English." She also requested the company to give the job again to the employee
