G7 Summit: prime minister Modi will leave for germany late on 25 june, and will participate in the G-7 summit
Prime minister Modi will also interact with the indian community at a community event during his visit to the G-7 summit in Germany.Prime minister Narendra Modi is going to visit germany for the G-7 summit. In this regard, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said that on the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, prime minister Modi will leave for germany late on june 25. There he will attend the G-7 summit. prime minister Modi will also hold bilateral meetings and discussions with the leaders of the countries participating in the summit.
Kwatra said India's stand has been clear from the time the ukraine crisis started that there should be a ceasefire at the earliest and the problem should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy. The G-7 group is a grouping of the world's seven richest countries, currently headed by Germany. The group includes Britain, Canada, France, germany, Italy, Japan, and the United States.
Countries like Argentina, Indonesia, Senegal, and south africa have also been invited. US President Joe Biden, british prime minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, and many other top leaders are participating in this meeting.
Kwatra said that during his visit to germany, prime minister Modi can address two sessions in which one session will be on the environment, energy, and climate and the second session will cover topics like food security, gender equality, and democracy. On the sidelines of this summit, the prime minister will also hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of some of the countries participating in the summit.
