NRI arrested for Facebook abuse !
May be this is what our country has came to. No wonder Aamir Khan said that the intolerance has raised a lot in the nation. Karnataka Police have recently filed a case and registered a FIR against a Non Resident Indian (NRI) for abusing city commissioner S.Murugan on the Facebook page.
The comments were noted down by police and an FIR was registered pretty soon. The NRI name was Akbar Kudroli and he is right now in United states of America. He posted some derogatory comments against Mangaluru City police commissioner after he imposed ban on Dr. Zakir Naik from entering Mangaluru city and restricted him from conducting public meetings.
Doctor Naik was ready to give a speech on the topic, "What is Islam" at a Peace conference which was planned on January 2nd at Nehru Maithan at Mangaluru. South Karnataka Salafi Movement (SKSM) is hosting this event and they have got permission already.
But RSS, Vishva Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and other right-wing groups warned the government and Police department that some bad consequences will be seen if the permission is given. As Police stopped, the Facebook comments have popped up!
