Will Mallu hearthrob win Tolly hearts?
The Mallu sensation Dulquer Salmaan, son of Megastar Mammootty, who is one of the top heroes of Mollywood, and has also starred in a couple of Tamil flicks, is all set to make his Tollywood debut next week, with the Savithri biopic Mahanati, directed by Nag Ashwin.
Dulquer plays the legendary King of Romance, actor Gemini Ganeshan, the husband of actress Savithri, and his character has a lot of scopes, as it possesses multiple shades, and it is to be seen if the makers have presented Gemini the way he was in reality. Meanwhile, Dulquer had said that he has been looking forward to the release of Mahanati and how well the audience will accept him.
As a matter of fact, Dulquer had already become a familiar data-face to Tollywood audience way back in 2015 itself, as his Tamil movie Ok Kanmani, the romantic flick by ace director Maniratnam, had been dubbed in Telugu as Ok Bangaram, with Nani dubbing for him. An interesting aspect of Mahanati is that Dulquer this time has not opted for a dubbed voice, and has spoken his own lines in Telugu and Tamil.
