Garudan Tamil Movie Review - Soori Shoulders this Familiar Story of Friendship & Deceit

G GOWTHAM
Garudan, set near Theni in southern tamil Nadu, is about two best friends, Karunakaran (Unni Mukundan) and Aadhithya (Sasikumar), who become friends after a shared trauma and look out for each other while wielding powerful authority over the town's temple and the surrounding events. Between them is Sokkan (Soori), Karuna's ardent follower who refuses to let anybody look at her, including the well-meaning Aadhithya. One of the pals switches gears, resulting in a story of betrayal, wrath, and, needless to say, more action.

A mother in Garudan forces her husband to take their little daughter with him when he goes to visit his violent associates. Everything makes sense when the spouse explains that the kid was sent with him to keep him from getting intoxicated. As much as one would question how a newborn could function as a bodyguard for her father, especially in a situation with several thugs, it is also the most efficient strategy a housewife can create to protect her husband from becoming drunk.

While what follows is a series of events that may remind you of parts of Subramaniapuram and Kodi, it is particular moments and takes that elevate Garudan to the level of an emotional picture with a hyper-masculine plot. Garuden moves quickly and rarely has a quiet moment. The film emphasises how close the three main characters are, making the betrayal hurt much harder. Sokkan is a memorable character with contradictory feelings. He's created in a way that goes against his own inclinations for devotion. He also cannot lie in front of his master, and his stream-of-consciousness verbal vomit provides some amusement.

Sasikumar performs with his typical style and does an excellent job. unni mukundan delivered an enthusiastic performance. However, soori enhances the film. His transformation from a devoted servant to a man battling for what is right serves as the emotional foundation. He delivered an outstanding performance and has maintained his impressive track record in serious parts since Vidhuthalai. Vadivukkarasi's brief appearance stands out, while Shivada Nair makes the most of her limited time.

Overall, soori Shoulders this Familiar Story of Friendship & Deceit
