Prashant Neel Losing his Magic - Jr NTR Fans Worry

G GOWTHAM
On october 31st, Bagheera, which was scripted by kgf director prashanth neel and directed by Dr. Suri, was released in theaters. The film, which stars Sriimurali, blends Western ideas with indian ideals in a disturbing way. Vedanth, a young IPS officer with the vigilante character "Bagheera," is the protagonist of the movie. When the system is unable to uphold justice, the persona of Bagheera steps in to do so.

The movie draws influence from hollywood vigilantes like Batman and Superman and has a grim vibe throughout. But it appears that Bagheera's opening performance has been subpar, even with Prashanth Neel's stellar narrative record with KGF. The movie is receiving positive reviews, but it doesn't appear to translate into crowded theaters. Despite having a ₹50 Cr budget, the movie might not make even ₹5 Cr on its opening day. Bagheera is having a terrible time getting people to go to the theaters; as of right now, not a single performance is entirely sold out.

Social media has been used by many to vent their dissatisfaction and unhappiness with the situation. Another gloomy theme? comments one user. Something new is needed in Sandalwood! Another user comments, "People want more than just intense, shadow-filled scenes—Neel's magic may be fading." Numerous reviewers are asserting that following Sandalwood's earlier productions, such as Kabzaa and Martin, the public may no longer be interested in such darkly subject movies.

People are already starting to question if Prashanth Neel's next movie with Jr. NTR, "Dragon," would be impacted by this continuing pattern. Whether "Bagheera" overcomes its poor start or gets lost in the sea of flops will only become clear with time.
