Known for classy love stories full of life. and presenting women beautifully on screen, in his movies like Anand, Godavari, Leader, Happy Days, the promising director Shekar Kammula, lost track, with consecutive failures like Life is Beautiful and Anamika, which failed miserably.
However, he made a strong comeback last year, with his super energetic lovestory of a telangana Ammayi and an NRI abbayi, Fidaa, powered by super powerful act by the pimple beauty Sai Pallavi and the subtle act by Mega Prince Varun Tej, bringing him back to the game. Following the success of Fidaa, he has readied a script which will be bankrolled by Fidaa producer Dil Raju himself.
After this Dil raju movie, he has narrated a script to Natural Star Nani, which has been okayed by him, and will be bankrolled by Distribution giant Asian Cinemas of Nizam, and will begin after Nani completes his multistarrer with Nagarjuna, directed by Sriram Aditya. Shekar Kammula is now aiming to bring Nazriya in this project. We need to wait and see whether she will say 'Yes' to him or not.
