FIRST REPORT: SDT's 'WINNER' is a SORE LOSER !!!
Sai Dharam Tej who data-faced a huge failure with his last release was confident to make a comeback with his new release 'Winner'. The movie features Rakul Preet, Prudhvi, Suresh, Jagapathi Babu in crucial roles. The movie is clearly labeled as a commercial potboiler due to excess commercial elements.
So, let's see whether the movie has impressed as expected. Sai Dharam Tej tries to attract 'MEGA' fans by uttering dialogues of Pawan and Chiru. But, he is not at his best. Anasuya aunty spices up the screen with 'Suya Suya' song. The routine commercial template annoys us.
Hero Intro followed by Song sequence. Then comedian intro followed by Heroine intro then Villain intro. Uuff...!! Also, the unwanted comedy scenes test our patience. Prudhvi's 'Singam' spoof doesn't evoke laughter at any instance.
Rakul Preet is beautiful and she flaunts her athletic abs. But, she doesn't get much scope to prove her mettle. Typical commercial movie heroine. The movie is unable to project either the Horse betting race or commercial stuff. In the end, it falls in no man's land and it gets the tagline 'Loser'!
