Why 'Ravan' of 'Ramayana' used to apologize to Lord Ram every day?

Reportedly every character in Ramanand Sagar's serial 'Ramayana' was heart winning. While on one hand, actor Arun Govil got popularity as ram from this serial, on the other hand, actor Arvind Trivedi also won the hearts of the audience with his acting and style. He played the character of 'Ravan' in 'Ramayana' and he gained a lot of fame from this role.

Perhaps the character of Lankadhipati Raavan i.e. Lankesh still comes in front of our eyes because of him. Although many other actors have also played the character of 'Ravan' in tv shows and films, but the thing that Arvind had was not in anyone else. He brought the negative role to life on screen. The dialogues spoken by him in 'Ramayana' became immortal forever.

Meanwhile Arvind Trivedi, who started his career with Gujarati theatre, became a favorite of tv viewers across the country and the world with the 'Ramayan' serial which started on Doordarshan in 1986. Born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Arvind Trivedi may have played the role of 'Ravan' on screen, but in real life he was a ram devotee. During the shooting, he had to abuse Lord ram many times. In such a situation, he also had some mental stress, for which he used to apologize to Lord ram every day. He himself revealed these things in many tv interviews.

Moreover Arvind Trivedi left such an impression of his acting that even today people see him in the role of 'Ravan'. His body language, loud voice and way of laughing were superb. Arvind Trivedi died of a heart attack on 6 october 2021. He breathed his last at the age of 83. He worked in hundreds of films and tv serials during his career, but his most popular character was that of 'Ravan'. He also showed his skills in politics.
