The couple has yet to react to their wedding rumors, but media reports have revealed more details about their alleged marriage plans. According to a Zoom report, Sonakshi and Zaheer are planning to have a registered marriage on june 23, followed by a wedding bash.

Sonakshi’s friend told the news portal about her rumored wedding: “I have received an invitation to celebrate with the couple on the evening of june 23. But there’s no mention of an actual wedding. From what I know, they have already gone through a registered marriage or may do so on the morning of june 23. But there’s not going to be any elaborative wedding as such, just a party."

Sonakshi Sinha's family reacts to wedding rumours 

Earlier, Sonakshi’s father and actor shatrughan sinha reacted to the wedding rumors and said that he would bless the couple when they informed him. He told Zoom, "I am in delhi right now. After the election results, I flew down here. I haven't spoken to anyone about my daughter's plans. So your question is, is she getting married? The answer is that she hasn't told me anything about it."

He added, "Main bhi utna hi jaanta ho jitna main media maine padha hai (I know as much about this as what the media has told me). If and when she takes me into confidence, my wife and I will give the couple my blessings. We wish her happiness always. We trust her judgment completely. She would never make an extra-constitutional or illegal decision. As a consenting adult, she has the right to make her own decisions."

Meanwhile, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Luv Sinha, who is Sonakshi’s brother, said, "I won't be commenting. It's better if you reach out to Sonakshi or the other person. All I can say is I have nothing to say on this matter."
