Will Ram Charan Go Ahead with Propaganda Films?

Following the huge box office success of The kashmir Files and The kerala Story, many filmmakers believed they had hit upon the secret to producing successful films on the smallest budgets: choose a theme that revolves around Hinduism, paint a negative picture of the minority, give high marks to the government, create controversy, and presto! A blockbuster is born.

But lately, this strategy has left us disappointed. At the movie office, films like Tejas, Hindutva, Ajmer 92, 72 Hoor, and The Vaccine war were a complete bust. Three additional films, Bastar, Razakar, and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, were likewise a complete bust in the previous two weeks.

Recall that in 2023, ram charan took a chance and produced The india House, starring Nikhil. On the 140th anniversary of Savarkar's birth, he made a major announcement. nikhil siddhartha and anupam kher were set to appear in the movie, which was billed as a pan-Indian production. Alongside the announcement of the 95-second teaser, a tagline reading "revolution is brewing" hinted at the possibility of unearthing a lost chapter in indian history.

The film was slated to be directed by ram vamsi Krishna, a rookie. But for the previous many months, there haven't been any updates on the status of the movie. Additionally, Nikhil has gone on to other projects, such as Swayambhu. It remains to be seen if The india House will move forward or if it will be shelved owing to the box office fate of such propaganda films, given the recent run of failures in such films.
