While Katiresan and Meenakshi, a couple from madurai, claimed actor dhanush as our son, the Mellur court has now quashed the appeal case.
In 2016, the Katiresan-Meenakshi couple from Mellur, madurai district filed a case in the Mellur court claiming that their son Kalaichelvan, who disappeared at a young age, is the actor dhanush, who was brought up by kasthuri Raja and is now an actor. It was also mentioned that dhanush should help them in their livelihood.
As the incident created a stir, the court hearing the case issued an order to summon dhanush to appear in person. But from Dhanush's side, Meenakshi-Kathiresan did not know who they were and requested that the case be dismissed. While this case has been going on for more than 8 years, the Meenakshi-Kathiresan couple has filed a petition against Dhanush's education and birth certificates.
Against this, Kathiresan filed a review petition in the high court Maduraiklai. Justice Ramakrishnan, who heard this petition, has ordered that 'this petition has been filed with some ulterior motives and since the allegations have not been proved, this petition is dismissed'.
