Cult Sequel Vs. Blockbuster Reunion

Summer is a terrific season to view films after Sankranthi, but it looks that 2024 may let fans down because there aren't any major star hero releases scheduled. But there are two interesting films to keep an eye out for: "Tillu Square" directed by siddhu Jonnalagadda and "Family Star" starring Vijay Deverakonda. Just one week apart, in early June, both films will be released in theatres.

The official follow-up to the well-known film "DJ Tillu" starring siddhu Jonnalagadda, "Tillu Square" is a romantic comedy. This has been much anticipated by fans, especially because siddhu is playing his cult role again after a two-year hiatus. The film will be available on march 29.

Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram, the director of his hit film "Geetha Govindam," would collaborate again on "Family Star" one week later on april 5. Despite not being a straight sequel to "Geetha Govindam," Vijay and Parasuram's chemistry suggests a similar tone. This nostalgic vibe is already suggested from the first song release. Although there isn't as much excitement as one may have thought about these flicks right now, viewers are nonetheless somewhat curious.

Supporters are thrilled to see siddhu reprise his role as Tillu in "Tillu Square," and excitement is also being generated by the reunion of the "Geetha Govindam" cast in "Family Star." Should one of the pictures fall flat with viewers, the other would capitalise on the summertime and win big. And because they are coming out within a week of one another, if both films are good, they will devour each other's box office receipts. Hopefully, both movies provide the summertime enjoyment that moviegoers are looking for and the movie theatre industry starts back up steam!
