In an exclusive interview with india Herald, rukshar dhillon discusses her part in Naa Saami Ranga, how she chooses her roles, her plans for Sankranthi, and more. When we hook up with rukshar dhillon, she seems remarkably relaxed. She is optimistic that her forthcoming film, Naa Saami Ranga, which stars Vijay Binni, Nagarjuna, Ashika Ranganath, raj Tarun, allari Naresh, and Mirnaa Menon, would do well when it is released on january 14 for Sankranthi.

The film, written by prasanna Kumar Bezawada, is expected to be a remake of the 2019 malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose. When asked about it, she responds, "I think the story is so strong, I looked at it as a fresh script instead of a remake." In an honest interview with india Herald, she discusses the film's narrative, her experience filming it, and more. Naa Saami Ranga, set in the 1980s, is about a village's ecosystem and how Nagarjuna's character Ranga fixes the people's problems.

Rukshar plays one of those peasants, and he falls for raj Tarun's Bhaskar. "This was a period where falling in love was taboo and my role as Kumari will explore that," she said. However, she adds that her role in the film is anything but a damsel-in-distress, adding, "Kumari is a village belle who has been raised protected, always living in her family's shadow." But she just wants genuine love, and she fights for it. Many women back then would not have stood up for themselves as she does in the film. I like that she isn't meek."
