Fighter Strategy Completely Backfires

The uae has joined other gulf nations in banning the aerial action film "Fighter," which stars hrithik roshan and deepika Padukone. Despite its scheduled premiere today, the film failed to get GCC censorship clearance on january 10, causing it to be removed from all uae theatres. According to the trailer, the film attempted to capitalize on India's present patriotic fervor by inserting scenes of pakistan bashing, akin to "Gadar." However, this plan backfired, resulting in a ban in gulf countries, including the UAE.
Last year, "Pathaan" and "Jawan" grossed around 120 crores. Even in the worst-case scenario, "Fighter" is expected to lose between 60 and 80 crores, representing a considerable revenue loss. Even the indian audience seems uninterested in "Fighter," despite the inclusion of Pakistan-bashing themes. The lackluster music and uninspiring aerial action backdrop have failed to attract the audience's attention. There is anticipation that positive word of mouth will generate a considerable increase from the film's second day, particularly given the Republic Day holiday.

Hrithik Roshan's latest theatrical venture, Fighter, will be released on the 25th of this month. Despite being an action picture with a large cast and directed by siddharth Anand, who previously delivered the blockbuster Pathan, the film is beginning on a poor note at the box office.
