Singer KS Chithra gets Backlash for posting about Ayodhya...?

Nationally acclaimed singer K S Chithra has data-faced backlash on social media for her recent video message encouraging people to recite Lord ram hymns on january 22 during the consecration ceremony of the ram temple in Ayodhya. Within the past two days, a short video that went viral on social media platforms requested that everyone recite the mantra 'Sri Rama, Jaya Rama, Jaya Jaya Rama' at 12:20 pm, which is the time of the consecration event. To commemorate the event, she also suggested that people light five-wick lamps in their homes the same day in the evening.

As she wrapped up her speech, the 60-year-old singer chanted the sanskrit hymn "Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu," expressing her desire for everyone to receive the benefits of God. Nevertheless, a portion of internet users took offense to the singer's video message and harshly criticized her for it. By sending out such a message, many people perceived her as taking a political stance. Numerous social media users also offered the singer their support, stating that she is free to voice her opinions and has every right to do so. The singer G Venugopal, who backed Chithra all the way through the row, claimed the comments she saw online demoralized and offended her.

In a data-facebook post, he asked the critics to pardon Chithra if they disagreed with her remarks. Chithra was the target of a cyberattack shortly after actress shobhana data-faced harsh criticism from some quarters for attending a BJP-organized event in thrissur recently that had her sharing the stage with prime minister Narendra Modi.
