Journey Of ‘Tillu’, Back To ‘Square’ One
Every year, at least three films are released during the Sankranthi season. Sankranthi season heated up this year, with Nag's Naa Saami Ranga and Venky's Saindhav setting their outings in the following days, with mahesh babu guntur Kaaram sitting firmly on Jan 12th and Hanuman too not ready to back out due to their hindi release obligations.
During this time, Raviteja's Eagle, which was supposed to be released on Sankranthi, pulled out at the last minute. While this is all well and good, the Sankranthi release battle and resolution had an impact on one film that was not in the Sankranthi contest at all. Tillu Square is siddhu Jonnalagadda's creation.
Tillu Square is set to be released on february 9th, 2024. However, due to an unforeseen conflict, guntur Kaaram producer Naga vamsi was forced to consent to the delay of Tillu Square from february 9th, allowing Eagle to drop out of the competition and have a single release on february 9th.
Tillu Square was planned to be launched in march 2023, however, that date was pushed back to september 2023. Salaar and other circumstances pushed their release dates back to february, and now Sankranthi has done the same.
Two Tillu Square songs and a movie trailer piqued the audience's interest, and the directors must release the film before it loses steam. The chemistry between siddhu and Anupama appears to have worked really well, and it remains to be seen when Tillu Square will be released in theatres. Tillu's release journey is now at a standstill, with no release date in sight.
