Yesterday, shiva Vedha, the 125th movie directed by shiva RajKumar, was released in Telugu. The A Harsha directed film's kannada version had a christmas release the year before, and the team has done a wonderful job of promoting the telugu dubbed version by planning a significant pre-release event in hyderabad before the telugu version hits theatres on february 9. netizens are perplexed as to why the movie is still being promoted to theatres given that it will unexpectedly debut on OTT channel Zee5 on february 10 in every language it has been dubbed in, including Telugu.
Netizens and viewers believe that since all the dubbed versions were prepared, the studio should have chosen a simultaneous release or at least delayed it by a few weeks rather than having the telugu version arrive in theatres virtually simultaneously with the OTT streaming.
The internet community claims that it was a bad idea to distribute this movie in theatres with a telugu dub because it amounted to deceiving the public. They further question why the movie's production team brought Nandamuri balakrishna to the pre-release event and promoted the telugu version in such a way.
