Rajamouli Talks Like 'Vruddha Nari Pativrata'

Rajamouli claims that after seeing Kantara, producers and filmmakers need to adopt new perspectives. He states categorically that high expenditures and famous actors are not necessary for successful box office results. Kantara cost Rs 16 Cr to produce (as stated in the official statement), but it made more than Rs 400 Cr. Therefore, the net profit is very significant and nearly 25 times the investment. However, Rajamouli's rrr and Babubali were unable to match Kantara's achievement in terms of ROI.

Leaving this aside, rajamouli continued to raise the budgets of his movies for the reasons listed below:
- Spending huge amounts on sets
- Outsourcing the VFX and CGI to overseas companies and technicians
- Leisure way of making in the name of perfection
- Spending more and more on national and international promotions
Despite all of this, achieving breakeven has turned into an impossible undertaking. The highest success, however, was achieved by Kantara without adhering to any of these.

With a budget of 20 to 25 crore, the native telugu experts produced "Hanuman" with sufficient high-quality graphics. The graphics are also in the proper format on Kantara, KGF, and Bimbisara. So why do large budget movies spend hundreds of millions of dollars on graphics?
Films like PS1, Brahmastra, and rrr spent hundreds of crores on their visual effects. However, the phoney collection reports are still displayed to maintain the project in the public eye. We are aware that PS1 was only broadcast in tamil Nadu in India. Brahmastra's fate is also known. Recently, dil raju acknowledged that the producers of Bahubali: The Beginning suffered losses.
