The current coronavirus XBB.1.16 variant affects children more. An 18-day-old baby has been infected with corona and has been admitted to our hospital, he said. Dr. Kumar said that four more children have been admitted to the hospital with corona symptoms. He asked that masks should be worn in schools and public places and that senior citizens should also wear masks. The next couple of weeks will see a peak in Covid cases and then they will start to come down, said Dr. Kumar. They have made necessary arrangements for patients, especially children, in the hospital, Delhi's education Minister Atishi said. The government is currently reviewing the present situation and the guidelines for schools will be announce soon, he said.
