CBSE has brought a great opportunity for college and university students to get scholarship. Central Board of Secondary education, Department of Higher education has started registration for Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship 2024-25. Those candidates who want to apply for scholarship can apply by visiting the National Scholarship Portal. Along with this, those candidates who are already availing this scholarship can also renew the scholarship by visiting this portal. To do this, the official website address of the National Scholarship Portal is - scholarship.gov.in.
What is written in the notice?
In the notice issued in this regard, CBSE has told that fresh applications can be filled through the registration started today. Apart from this, the first renewal of the year 2023, the second renewal of the year 2022, the third renewal of the year 2021 and the fourth renewal of the year 2020 can also be done during this period.
What is the last date?
Applications for this scholarship have started today i.e. 13 september 2024 and the last date for filling the form is 31 october 2024. New applications are also to be made during this period and renewal of applications is also to be done during this period.
Started in 2008
The Department of Higher education, Ministry of education started this scholarship in the year 2008. The goal of this scholarship is to help such candidates who are unable to complete their studies due to lack of finance to study and meet their daily expenses. Also know that only those candidates can apply for the scholarship whose family income is less than 4.5 lakhs per year. This scheme is for college students.
