Law is going to be made in the netherlands soon regarding working from home. A law in this regard was passed in the lower house of the Dutch parliament last week. Now it is awaiting approval from the Senate. At present, owners of any company in the netherlands can decline the request of their employees to work from home without giving any concrete reason. This will not happen after the new law is enacted. After this, the owners will have to give a solid reason for denying the request of the employees to work from home.

The law now going to be enacted is an amendment made to the Flexible Working Act 2015 of the Netherlands. This act gives employees the right to request a change of working hours, time, and location.
