ADM had taken action against land mafias last year
The people sitting on the dharna allege that Dhaniram Verma, Birendra Verma and Kandhai alias Rajesh Verma have been illegally occupying their leased land and sowing crops. When all the people staged a dharna on january 9 last year in 2023, action was taken against the land mafia on the instructions of ADM and 400 bigha leased land was freed from illegal occupation and a fine was also imposed, but after the transfer of ADM Rakesh Kumar, the matter calmed down again.
Since then, people have been sitting on an indefinite dharna at the Sugarcane Institute for continuous occupation and interference in the land. Even today people are adamant on their demand. The deceased's son Ramtirth and his brother Keedha have raised serious questions on the tehsil administration. On this matter, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Fatehpur Rajesh Vishwakarma said that, in 1973, land was allotted to 69 people but the implementation could not be done, the allotment was done before consolidation, these people were protesting to get the entry in the revenue records. This matter is under consideration of Commissioner ayodhya Mandal. We are camping in the village today and will try to understand the current situation of the village through the camp.
Officials denied the allegations of the family
