Maharashtra will begin enforcing new restrictions on thursday in response to an increase in coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the state. The rules, which will be in force until May 1, were introduced in response to the health department's prediction that active cases will exceed 1.1 million by May 2. up to 80% of the healthcare equipment was already in use, and the system will not be changed. 1.No travel would be permitted except for emergency facilities, medical purposes, or vaccination as part of the restrictions.
2. Those who are permitted to fly must quarantine themselves at home for 14 days after arriving at their destination.
3.Local train travel has been severely restricted, and inter-district and city travel has been restricted much more.
4.Weddings can have a maximum of 25 guests and must be completed in under two hours. Those found in violation of the law will be fined Rs50,000.
5.Both government and private offices will operate with a 15% attendance rate. Only those private offices that offer critical services or fall under one of the exempted categories are allowed to operate.
