Given Pepsi's clever rebuttal to Coca-Cola's 'Halftime' campaign for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Cola wars are most likely returning. Pepsi changed the narrative after Coca-Cola's "Halftime" commercial encouraged people to enjoy life's breaks. After all, it's "anytime" Pepsi time, so why stop at halftime?

Using the slogan "Anytime is Pepsi Time," Havas India's most recent campaign for Pepsi rebranded the national daily Times of india as Any Times of India.  The commercial brought to mind Pepsi's iconic 1996 campaign, "Nothing Official About It," which notably outperformed Coca-Cola's official sponsorship of the cricket World Cup.

There is never a bad moment to sip a glass of cold Pepsi, as the new Pepsi commercial highlights with a litany of life's greatest moments: first time, thirst time, play time, crunch time, winner time, us time, and me time.

To illustrate this further, Pepsi’s new ad arrived after Coca-Cola’s 'Halftime' campaign. So, Coca-Cola may have focused on halftime, but Pepsi? They've taken 'all' the time.

It wouldn't be an overstatement to say that the campaign has caused a stir on the internet, with people sharing their thoughts on Pepsi's smart wordplay on social media.

Some online users praised the brand's nostalgic comeback, while others just relished the Cola rivalry resuming.
