Is Draupadi the first indian lady to have five husbands? Or did she date five different men? Lord shiva was aware that Draupadi would struggle to fulfill her responsibilities as a bride to each of her five husbands when he granted her this blessing. For this reason, he also gave Draupadi the blessing that her virginity would be restored each day. Therefore, although still a virgin, Draupadi had five husbands.
 
Each year, the age of one Pandava was split.

But according to legend, Lord krishna advised her to spend yearly time with one of the Pandavas to conceive. Additionally, no other Pandava should enter her chamber while she is in it with one. Any Pandava who does so, even unintentionally, must go into exile for a year.
Each Pandava lived with Draupadi, the wives of the five Pandavas, for a year, according to popular belief. No other Pandava was permitted to enter Draupadi's home at that time. A year-long absence from the nation was the penalty for violating this regulation. arjuna once had to endure this penalty as well.
 
Yudhisthir's one-year banishment under Draupadi

Draupadi and arjuna had completed their one-year exile, and Draupadi-Yudhisthir had started his. By mistake, arjuna had left his bow and arrow at Draupadi's house. However, he needed it at the moment to save a Brahmin's animal from a villain. He thus disobeyed the law and went inside Draupadi's home to retrieve the bow and arrow by the kshatriya Dharma. At that time, Yudhisthir and Draupadi were together. Later, arjuna was exiled from the kingdom for a year as retribution.
