In less than three years, the city is expected to take shape.
The well-known educational establishment BITS (Birla Institute of technology and Sciences) is reportedly planning to open a new campus in Amaravati. Representatives of BITS and officials from the capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) visited the possible locations at Kuragallu, next to SRM University, and near the Venkatayapalem bypass a few days ago.
According to reports, BITS management will make a definitive decision shortly. At the moment, BITS has campuses in Hyderabad, Dubai, Goa, and Pilani. amaravati will be added to the list if all works well. amaravati is already home to campuses of prestigious universities and educational institutions, including SRM University, VIT, and amrita vishwa Vidyapeetham. Being one of the best institutions in the nation, BITS's amaravati location would be a cherry on top.
