Kalki USA Numbers Under Reported !?!

The Active telugu Film Producers Guild (ATFPG) was consulted over the dispute between kalki 2898 AD's producers and Prathyangira Cinemas, the US distributor. It is well known that the producers have accused Prathyangira Cinemas of unscrupulous tactics and of seriously underreporting the collections of films from the european zone. Today was the first time the Guild met to discuss the matter. The meeting was attended by gemini Kiran, vivek Kuchibotla, Sravanthi ravi Kishore, Supriya, and swapna Dutt.

Two senior, well-known U.S. distributors with expertise working with films of all data-sizes were invited to the Guild's conference. They asked them if they thought Prathyangira Cinemas had underreported the collections after showing them the final settlement document. According to Europe's final settlement declaration, the film made 1.2 million euros, but the distributor only gave 200K euros after commission and other costs. Another topic of discussion during the Guild meeting was the sales tax that was not included in the expenses displayed.

According to sources, manufacturers are now fearing underreporting of numbers in North America, and the problem is no longer just with the collections from Europe. They think kalki should have been given a larger share % across all theater chains because it made far more money than RRR, but that wasn't the case. The statistics that were displayed caused a great deal of skepticism. According to reports, Prathyangira Cinemas only gave kalki from the Cinemark chain a 55% share. However, producer swapna Dutt found that Cinemark paid 60% for RRR, which brought in less money than kalki did in the United States. Another point of contention is the reduced share given to Kalki.

According to reports, vyjayanthi movies emailed Cinemark, the biggest chain of theaters in the US, to ask for clarification over the distributor's share offer. The email has not yet received a response from Cinemark. The producer intends to pursue legal action if no response is received. We also know that swapna Dutt is asking the Chamber and Guild to prevent pushpa 2 from being released by Prathyangira Cinemas.
