Interesting battle of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar overtook uncle

ncp President ajit pawar defeated his nephew and sharad pawar faction candidate Yugendra Pawar by more than one lakh votes in the results released on saturday (23 November). ajit pawar, who separated from his uncle sharad pawar last year, contested for the eighth time from his family stronghold Baramati located in pune district and got 1,81,132 votes, while Yugendra Pawar got 80,233 votes. Thus, ajit pawar defeated his younger brother's son Yugendra by a margin of 1,00,899.
Shinde faction defeated 36 candidates of uddhav faction
On the other hand, Eknath Shinde's shiv sena also performed brilliantly in this election. shiv sena candidates outperformed their rival uddhav faction candidates. Shinde's shiv sena defeated 36 candidates of uddhav faction in the election. shiv sena had fielded its candidates on 81 seats and won a total of 57 seats. Whereas shiv sena (UBT) fielded its candidates on 95 seats and won only 20 seats. Let us tell you that voting was held on november 20 in a single phase on all 288 seats in the state.
