Similarly, batteries are the most searched item on swiggy Instamart. Bedsheets is the leader in fast deliveries. Shri Harsha also spoke about the difference between quick commerce and traditional e-commerce.Sriharsha also spoke about the challenges he data-faced after taking over as the company's CEO. As with any company in the beginning, getting people to know about their company can be a challenge. He had said that Sriharsha had data-faced the same challenge but now attributed his success to the people.
Sriharsha also mentioned the rise of e-commerce platforms. Besides swiggy and Somato, other delivery platforms continue to launch. The market has more than 19 delivery platforms. The market for e-commerce platforms has expanded to $5.5 billion by today's value. This is Rs 50,000 crore in india value. Initially offering only groceries, these places have now ventured into everything from clothing to appliances.
