Tamil Industry Struggling to Deliver 1000 Crores - Why Telugu Heroes Still Prefer Tamil Directors?

G GOWTHAM
Recently, social media War went to new heights as several telugu fans claimed that tamil Cinema can never acheive the 1000 Crores mark. In fact, that's true and the highest to gross is Shankar's 2.O and it was around 850 Crores and in recent times only Rajini's Jailer made it to 650 Crores. The overhyped LEO, GOAT failed to cross even 200 Crores.

But even then why telugu Heroes prefer tamil Directors? nelson dilipkumar is signed to direct jr ntr and lokesh is all set to direct Prabhas. Is telugu Cinema lacking good directors? Why should we rely on the neighbouring state? To be honest, tamil Cinema directors are more talented thatn telugu Cinema Directors and telugu Actors have more stardom than tamil Actors. So it is best to have a cross collaboration to break the barriers and come under the shadow of 'South indian Cinema'.

Superstar Jr. ntr is apparently preparing to collaborate with "Jailer" director Nelson Dilipkumar, if credible sources are to be believed. According to a source, "they met and discussed a few story ideas." He also states that Anirudh, a tamil musician who worked on "Devara" and became good friends with ntr, helped set up the meeting and it was successful. It's interesting to note that ntr and filmmaker Vetrimaaran discussed making a tamil debut together, and the director later acknowledged their meeting, stating, "I pitched a few ideas with him."
