83 seats can spoil the game, BJP-RSS's concern increases!
In maharashtra assembly elections, 158 constituencies will decide whether the key to power in the state will go to Mahayuti or Mahavikas Aghadi. In these 158 constituencies, there is bjp vs congress, Shinde's shiv sena vs Thackeray's shiv sena and Ajit Pawar's ncp vs Sharad Pawar's NCP. But, RSS is not worried about bjp, but about those 83 seats, where shiv sena Shinde and ncp ajit pawar are competing with shiv sena Uddhav faction and ncp Sharad Pawar. These 83 seats will decide whether bjp is better than congress in the state or not, whether the real shiv sena is Shinde's or Thackeray's and whether the real nationalist is ajit pawar or Sharad Pawar.
Equations changed after 2019
If we talk about the 2019 assembly elections, there were two parties in Mahayuti and maha Vikas Aghadi, which were mainly contesting elections against bjp and congress and ncp was contesting against Shiv Sena. But, in the changed equation after 2019, an alliance of three parties was formed in Mahayuti and maha Vikas Aghadi. Therefore, the equation of direct fight has been formed in the 2024 assembly elections.
Where will there be a direct contest between whom?
• There is a direct contest between bjp and congress on 35 seats of Vidarbha, 10 of Marathwada, 12 of Western maharashtra, 8 of Mumbai, 6 of North maharashtra and 4 of Konkan.
• There is a contest between bjp and congress on 75 seats of Maharashtra.
• The second direct fight is taking place between the two Shiv Senas. Shinde's shiv sena is standing against Thackeray's Sena on 46 seats. Both Shiv Senas are data-face to data-face on 5 seats in Vidarbha, while both Shiv Senas are data-face to data-face on 10 seats in Marathwada, 8 in West maharashtra, 10 in Mumbai, 4 in North maharashtra and 9 in Konkan.
• There is a contest between ncp ajit pawar and ncp sharad pawar on 37 assembly seats in Maharashtra. Both of them are going to contest on 3 seats in Vidarbha, 6 seats in Marathwada, 21 seats in West maharashtra, 1 in Mumbai, 3 in North maharashtra and 3 seats in Konkan.
• Sharad Pawar's ncp is contesting against bjp candidates on 38 assembly seats.
