YouTube Guides a Man to Print ₹ 500 Notes On ₹ 10 Stamp Paper
According to the authorities, the serial number on each note was the same. At the Ramgarh market in Sonbhadra, where they were apprehended, the two planned to spend an additional ₹10,000 on counterfeit money.
"We discovered 20 counterfeit ₹ 500 notes. Without knowing the specific characteristics of the money notes, no one would be able to tell that they are fake," stated Additional Superintendent of police Kalu Singh.
The defendants' occupation was printing advertisements for mineral water. According to the police, they discovered how to print the phony notes on YouTube. In addition to the counterfeit cash, the police confiscated an Alto automobile, note-printing equipment, a laptop, a printer, and 27 stamp papers from the defendant.
This is yet another instance where social media is in the wrong hands and stern action should be taken to avoid such mishaps in the future.
