Viral Video Of Techie Exposes Toxic Work Culture

Recently, a video of a man from Bengaluru attending a durga puja Pandal virtual client meeting went viral. The man is seen holding both his phone and laptop in the video, attempting to maximize each opportunity. This video sparked criticism of the poisonous corporate work culture in Bengaluru and other metropolitan areas, where tech workers, in particular, frequently had to put in extra hours, particularly during festivals.

This makes it extremely difficult for individuals to keep a good balance between their personal and professional life, which frequently has a long-term effect on their health. The pathetic condition of the man in the video clip infuriated social media users. "Stop this nonsense, the company will not hesitate to lay off, so keep personal and professional time separate," one user said.

"If this normalization continues, all techies will experience health problems as a result of stress," said another. In a similar vein, many others expressed their dissatisfaction with the unbalanced work-life balance culture in metropolitan India. This episode demonstrates the unethical behavior of large organizations, where workers are treated more like assets than like people. Employees must also understand that in order to preserve a healthy and much-needed balance in their lives, their well-being should come first.
