Jr NTR's Luck Continues with Devara

Jr. NTR's Devara: Part 1 continues to make an impression at the box office every day, perhaps benefiting from the surprise box office flops of "Jigra" and "Vicky vidya Ka Wo Wala Video." According to trade sources, the koratala Siva-directed movie, which starred Jr. NTR, generated a respectable ₹295 Cr. in two weeks at the indian BO, with a share of ₹160 Cr.

Devara appears to have stepped up to fill the void left by both movies' enormous box office flops in the hindi states. Given that "Jigra" is having trouble gaining traction and "Vicky vidya Ka Wo Wala Video" isn't making much of an impression because of bad word-of-mouth, Devara has easily surpassed both and is now getting closer to the 400 Cr. magical threshold.

In hindi states, Devara: Part 1's excellent performance may be ascribed to the void created by both movies' failures, but in the South, the narrative takes a different route. Devara is already a huge hit in andhra pradesh and Telangana, according to trade websites. Because of its good showing in karnataka and its modest receipts in tamil Nadu and Kerala, the movie is expected to reach ₹325 Cr. domestically and has a much higher chance of reaching the ₹400 Cr. mark internationally.

Devara: Part 1 has received a much-needed boost towards the magical number thanks to its stellar success in the South and the absence of competition in the hindi belt. The audience's affection may also pave the way for a speculated sequel!
