Samantha Recalls Shooting Action Scenes After Getting IV in the Morning

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently discussed her health issues while filming Citadel: Honey Bunny's action scenes. The performer, who was receiving treatment for myositis, talked about how she filmed the espionage action series in spite of her illness. In a cinema Express interview, samantha said she wasn't always certain she could film for the program.

The actor said, "When I see it, I can't even believe that I actually did it," when asked how difficult it was to film action for Citadel after receiving a myositis diagnosis. Sometimes I had a shot action in the afternoon after receiving an IV in the morning. Thus, each day was really intensive. I'm not sure if the other crew members were aware of it. On certain mornings when I was feeling ill, raj would come and ask, "Are you sure you can shoot?" "I don't think I can shoot today," I said. However, I just don't know that I did it.
 

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010), a tamil romantic-drama directed by gautham Vasudev Menon, marked Samantha's acting debut. Ye Maaya Chesave (2010), in which she costarred with naga Chaitanya, was her debut telugu film. With her unique appearance in the song Oo Antava from the Pushpa: The Rise (2021) film starring allu arjun and rashmika mandanna, she became well-known throughout India. samantha recently appeared with vijay deverakonda in the telugu romance comedy Kushi (2023).
