Throughout his career, director Srinu Vaitla has helmed 18 films, including the commercially successful Venky, Dhee, Ready, and others. Even if these aren't groundbreaking flicks, he was well-known at the time and his films entertained audiences. Now that he has returned with Viswam after a few years apart, several audience members sincerely hoped for his great homecoming. Putting away Viswam's box office performance, based on the film's substance, we can state with confidence that Srinu Vaitla hasn't changed at all, which is the saddest aspect.
