Producer anand Pandit's announcement of a follow-up to the 1978 cult hit "Trishul" appears to have laid the groundwork for amitabh Bachchan's historic comeback. When the news was released, fans were ecstatic as they celebrated Big B's 87th birthday. anand Pandit revealed that he had a great deal of admiration for amitabh bachchan and that Trishul had a particular place in his heart. He also mentioned that the movie's protagonist Vijay's narrative inspired him to leave gujarat and move to mumbai in order to pursue his aspirations.
 
He further, saying that the film's sequel will follow Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) after his reunion with the Gupta family, providing insight into his upbringing, future, and emotional recovery. As they wait for Vijay's narrative to come to light, ardent admirers of the original masterpiece seem to be going crazy over this news. The producer's choice to pursue a sequel has drawn criticism from some, and with good reason—Trishul's 1986 telugu version "Mr. Bharath," starring Sobhan Babu, was a complete bomb.
